At home I have a Jack Russell terrier “Lucy” who loves to curl up in a little ball and sleep by a sunny window gently snoring.  As I toil away at work I sometimes think about Lucy and what a great life she has!  While some work places have started letting employees bring their pets to work in recent years, I can’t really see  that happening at my work in the near future.

One item that I noticed on the cubicle website gorillacube.com is a ”Perfect Petzzz.” A Perfect Petzzz is a battery operated furry toy dog or cat that sleeps  and gently snoozes in an adorable way that you can both see and hear.  Your Perfect Petzzz comes with his/her own tag, carrier, brush, and birth certificate.  There are a TON of options/breeds to choose from.  This is definitely a unique item for any pet lover and a way to bring  a cuddly reminder of home into the office.

If you are a person who is constantly fidgeting (like me) then this is the perfect product!  According to the website “Riding on four smooth gliding casters, the Webble combines an iconic shape with a spring suspension and patented mesh membrane that offer the ultimate in comfort and flexibility. The webble’s open frame combines strength and style in an unmistakable form that challenges the assumption that life under your desk couldn’t possibly be fun.”  Well, this is definitely the first product I’ve heard of that offers under the desk fun.   Also, another interesting fact about the Webble, apparently it was the 2008 “Best of Year Interior Design Winner.”    

A good friend created a new online store www.rocketfist.com that offers limited edition art and character toys from a variety of artists.  You’re sure to find a unique, crazy, or hilarious toy to get everyone talking such as Mr. “Dookie-Poo” to the left.   Who doesn’t need a toy at their desk?  so go check it out already and let us know what you think. 

We came across this hilarious cubicle parody and had to share. It’s only 2 minutes and well worth it.

Ok, this product seems a little strange to me, but if you desire to flash back to the Barbie & GI Joe days, there is an “adult” office play set out there for you!  The Cubes: Office Settings must be going mainstream because the product is offered through Target, and includes a variety of office figurines and settings including the Copy Center, the Break Room Set, and an Expansion set of office friends.  This item is sure to be a conversation piece, just don’t let your boss catch you playing with your “office figurines” too often!    

Pet Animal Rubberbands!  Made from silicone, these unique and colorful rubberbands are shaped like animals.  Now when your coworker asks to borrow a rubberband give them the option between a blue turtle or a yellow duck… 

The Staple-Free Stapler?  This ingenious and space saving piece of equipment leaves your papers metal free!  This has to be somewhat environmentally responsible, right?
